In the season 1 finale of the 'Not Mini Adults Podcast' we speak with Professor Michelle Haber, a globally esteemed researcher of childhood cancer.

Professor Haber is an Australian scientist in the field of childhood cancer research and serves as the Executive Director of the Children's Cancer Institute in Sydney, Australia. 

Michelle is also a Professor at the School of Women’s and Children’s Health at the University of New South Wales. She is known for her discoveries in the area of chemotherapy resistance in neuroblastoma and for translating these discoveries into new therapeutics that are currently in clinical trials. 

In 2017 Professor Haber began leading a program entitled ‘Zero Childhood Cancer’.  As you will hear the Zero Childhood Cancer Program harnesses the latest technology and innovations in research to offer a truly unique insight into an individual child’s cancer to enable identification of the treatment most likely to be effective.

In 2007 Professor Haber was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for service to science in the field of childhood cancer, to scientific education, and to the community.
